vista/windows 7 partitions
In windows prior to the Vista version we had to use third party software (such as partition magic) to fix partitions on our hard drives. Since windows vista however, the time to look on outdated software for partitioning and getting mad on how bad it works is over.
Microsoft made it easy for the end user to understand how to do his partitions and how to do it right…. well almost….
What you need to do to start the disk management utility is to go to start menu, click on run and type
diskmgmt.msc |
After that, the program is pretty much intuitive and is really easy to use.
P.S.: Hint to the guys on the net which searches for solutions on how to move their drive letters, or how to make their new drive with letter “D”, on the place of the CD/DVD. You have DEVICE MANAGER. Go to the device manager, disable the devices you want to move down, then from the disk manager assign new letter on your new partition. You’ll see that you will be able to chose “D” if everything was fine. After that, just enable your CD drives again, they will get the next available drive letter.

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing some research on that. And he just bought me lunch as I found it for him smile Therefore let me rephrase that: Thank you for lunch!

Haha, I just HAD to allow your post. I am sorry for the poor souls which paid you for the SEO, you are definitely doing a poor job. Stating my site looks bad in IE…. when you have this:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; it-IT; rv:1.9.0.2) Gecko/2008092313 Ubuntu/9.25 (jaunty) Firefox/3.8
I doubt you plagued your linux installation with the IE crap π
And even if your statement was true, I still couldn’t care less about it – IE is not one of MY favourite browsers, so I don’t give a damn about it π
But hey, thanks for the good laugh, it just made my day π
